We provide a variety of ways for people to engage in groups focusing on spiritual formation and connection outside of our Sunday morning worship Gatherings. Our lives are more disconnected today from other people than they have been at any other point in human history. This is not how we were created to live. We’re meant to have meaningful friendships that offer us life and care. Although we can’t promise you’ll find your closest friends here at Markey Church, we attempt to provide spaces where you can connect with other people, trusting that meaningful friendships can build when folks are provided with the right opportunities for friendship to blossom.
MINISTRIES
Grades K-5
At Markey Church we invite our kids to wonder and imagine how God is at work in their lives and in the life of our community, all in an age-appropriate and safe environment staffed by screened volunteers.
Our kids start the morning with their families for worship, and are released following the worship songs. They rejoin families before worship ends.
Our kids meet weekly during our 10am worship gathering, as volunteer staffing allows.
Prayer + Care Team
Our Prayer and Care Team faithfully shows love to our church community. Our Prayer team members regularly pray for those concerns brought to their attention, but also other needs that they are aware of personally.
If you would like prayer or a member of our prayer team to contact you, click here to share your information privately. A board is also available in our church building to share your praises and prayer needs. Please consider praying over those public requests and praises as well.
Our Care Team members are gifted in caring for those in our community during or following an illness, in the midst of a life change, grieving a loss, celebrating a new baby, or anything else that may come your way. Some of the ways our Care Team can support you include:
-Meals during an illness or recovery
-Visiting you at home or the hospital
-Transportation for appointments
-Lunch following a funeral service

Lamplighters Adult Sunday School Group
Weekly meeting on Sunday morning for prayer & study, geared toward the 60-80 year old crowd. Join us Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45am.
